The answer is "Yes, of course", but the thing I have to always bear in mind is that life in a small village (population 640) is NOT like life in London! Sounds obvious but not always....

Front of house and terrace with view over valley. Garden is up top, higher than the house! Not having the wherewithal to redo the facade, I try to convince myself that the decrepit look is "charming" in true Peter Mayall style....

The gites are on the top foor BUT inside they are on the ground floor at the same time, as the village is on a hill and the house built into the rockbed.
